We are a horticultural grower and wholesale landscape distributor operating two shopping locations and four growing facilities. Our operations span three facilities in Massachusetts and one in North Carolina.

TODAY
Farm Operations has grown across four locations and nearly 350 acres, our Farm Operations team cultivates 2,950 crop varieties and produces approximately 12 million pots each year, helping deliver the quality plants and seasonal color our customers have come to expect.

North Carolina Expansion The addition of our 100-acre North Carolina facility, with 10 acres of greenhouses, increased production of tropicals, roses, annuals, and perennials while helping bring early-season blooms to New England.
2019
Lancaster Growing Facility is added with the primary focus to expand production of Mums – one of our largest crops
2015
Leominster Growing Facility – Adds 3.5 acres of fields and 3.5 acres of greenhouses with full production and shipping, nearly doubling spring production.
2010
The farm grows to 250 acres, with 10 acres of advanced greenhouses and 300+ peak-season employees.
2003
Lincoln Road Nursery is created recognizing the desire for a complete one-stop shop horticultural center 36.6 acres dedicated to trees and shrubs.
1990
Landscape division is launched focusing on material specific to the needs of landscape professionals, builders and municipalities.
1987
The Pickup Area is created. Lico Cano leads its growth. The farm expands to 90 acres with 154,200 sq. ft. of greenhouse space and 20 employees.
1983
Paul meets Tom Cottens.
‘Jumbo Annuals’ are introduced—becoming an industry standard.
1980
Operations on the Main Fram see advances in production increasing from 20,000’s pots per year to over 80,000 pots.
1970
The farm grows to 90+ acres with 120,000 sq. ft. of greenhouses, adding winter squash, pumpkins, and poinsettias.
1960
The family continues to develop the business’ operations, expanding seasonal crops to include spring bedding plants, vegetables and field-grown perennials.
1953
Joe Luna is hired to support growing, field production, and Boston deliveries. Retiring in 2015 after 60+ years.
1938
Giuseppe Cavicchio preserved Sudbury’s agricultural roots by refusing Henry Ford’s offer—worth 13 times the land’s value—to build a factory, keeping the town rural and sending Ford to Michigan instead.
1910
Giuseppe and Civita Cavicchio emigrate from Italy to Sudbury, cultivating 56 acres of orchards and fields and selling their produce in Boston.
